TPL100 Starter Patterns & Tool Kit – Traditional Japanese Paper Layering

Introducing a traditional Japanese paper layering technique called “Ocho-Tsugigami!” This traditional paper layering technique was developed over a thousand years ago during the Heian Period (AD 794-1185) by the aristocrats of Japan and has been passed down over the generations.  We thought it would be a perfect technique for our cardmaking enthusiasts today!

Purchase the Pattern Kit together with the Paper Layering Washi Variety Pack to get started!

For this technique, you will need:

*Pattern, vellum paper, tailor’s awl (available in TPL100 – TPL Starter – Pattern & Tool)

*Decorative washi paper, white washi background paper, layering (thin) cardstock, notecards (available in TPL200 – TPL Starter Paper Layering Washi Variety Pack)

Note: Selection of washi paper in kits will vary.
